Adrian Cave Head PGA Professional

Adrian went through his PGA Training starting in 1984 at Addington GC in Surrey. He qualified in 1987 and was appointed as a teaching assistant to Simon Lloyd at Bigbury GC. He stayed there for 3 years before being appointed as Honiton Golf Club Professional in 1990.
He Celebrated his 30th year in August 2020.
Between 1992 and 1993 Adrian was the Captain of the Devon County PGA.
He is an integral part of the club and professional in all his duties.

About Me:
You will never get more than 2 aspects in a lesson (30 or 60 minutes) and feel overwhelmed or like there is too much information.
I have a passion for golf and love playing and coaching, I have always loved puzzles and a golf swing is just another!
I started my training at the Cotswolds Hotel and Spa near Oxford and have completed it at Honiton in 2019.
I am excited to help members and guests reach their playing goals and increase their enjoyment within the sport, whether that be an individual lesson, a quick slice fix or sustained lessons to really get that enjoyment back.

What will we go through?
- Shaft Length – we need to find the longest shaft that you can hit out the middle
- Lie Angle – The direction the loft is pointing at impact. Miss it right or left?
- Shaft Flex – Ladies, Light, Regular, Stiff, Extra Stiff?
- Shaft Weight – Light, medium or heavy shafts?
- Club head design
- Final set make up. PW-5iron, hybrid, 5wood, driver?
- What is your pitching wedge and how does the loft fit into your other wedges?
